Jamie Foxx takes Kobe Bryant off all time greatest list

Jamie Foxx is being blasted by Kobe fans on Twitter after the actor took the Lakers leading scorer off an all-time NBA greatest list.

Foxx appeared on ESPN’s “NBA Countdown” Wednesday night. Host Michelle Beadle asked Foxx to respond to a meme posted – and deleted – by Tracy McGrady on Instagram. The meme asked who is the worst player out of six NBA Hall of Famers. The list included Kobe Bryant, Hakeem Olajuwon, LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Tim Duncan and Shaquille O’Neal.

Without hesitation, Foxx named Bryant as the player he’d remove from the list. The quick answer seemed to shock everyone.

“The only reason I’m saying is because if we’re trying to build a team, I think the team aspect of the players is a little different than the Kobe Bryant,” the Django Unchained actor explained. “If I’m building a team, the guys other than Kobe Bryant are more team oriented players…If we’re trying to win MVPs then Kobe Bryant is definitely a person that you would not take off the list.”

Despite the explanation, Bryant’s fans lit up Twitter with angry responses.
