The pros and cons of wearing all types of men’s underwear

There are more types of men’s underwear than you might think. Are you a standard or more adventurous kind of guy? With so many different underwear options to choose from, what’s your weapon of choice?

Boxers

They’re one of the most common types of men’s underwear because they allow for a comfortable fit. They’re easy, breezy, and you don’t have to worry about any pressure on the family jewels. If support is what you’re looking for though, you’re not going to find it here. Boxers are definitely for the laid-back let-everything-hang-loose kind of guy.

Boxer briefs

Do you like the style of boxers, but are looking for a little extra support? Boxer briefs are the way to go. This underwear is undoubtedly the favorite among the majority of men. Everything you could possibly ask from an everyday underwear option is there.

Covered upper thighs? Check. Optimal coverage and support? Check. Perfect accentuation of bulge? Double check.

Be careful though: boxer briefs that are too tight could be limiting your sperm production.

Briefs

Have you ever wanted to look like Tom Cruise from Risky Business? Now’s your chance – put on a pair of briefs and start dancing. Sure, they look a little goofy and you’re definitely not doing well in the seduction compartment, but there’s no arguing that they’re comfortable. The support’s there too, so why not give them a try? You never know; you may like them!

Thongs

Okay, hear us out; thongs aren’t actually that bad. We’re totally kidding; thongs are the worst and we’re genuinely confused about who actually wears them. I guess in theory if you were wearing really tight pants and didn’t want underwear lines, a thong would be acceptable, but with your masculinity at stake, is a thong really worth the risk? We don’t think so. Leave it to the male strippers, please and thank you.

Long underwear

Long underwear is only socially acceptable in certain situations. Ice fishing trip with the boys? Hell yeah! Warm summer day under your shorts? Hard no. When you can wear long underwear is dependent on the heat; under no circumstances should you ever wear long underwear if the temperature is above zero. It’s just a rule.

They will keep you insanely warm in those frigid temperatures though and we’re a fan of that kind of functionality.
