Legendary models who are still gorgeous today

Legendary models who are still gorgeous today

The 1900s were a simpler time. From jelly bracelets to new episodes of Friends, everything seemed to be better back then…or should we say super? In the 1990s, six supermodels became the envy of the runway, aptly named the big six. Each still the definition of beauty, let’s see where these famous models are now.

Claudia Schiffer

It’s hard to believe that German model Claudia Schiffer is 47. She is the Guinness Book of World Records holder for appearing on the most magazine covers. Schiffer continues to model and has just recently celebrated her 30th career anniversary.

Naomi Campbell

Black icon, Naomi Campbell was the first black woman to grace the covers of British Vogue, French Vogue, and Time. Although she doesn’t frequent the runway as much as she used to now as a “retired supermodel,” she’s still been a busy gal. She’s taken up acting and has been featured on hit TV shows like Empire and American Horror Story: Hotel.

PLEASE let me look this good when I am 47!

Kate Moss

Most notable for her work with Burberry, Kate Moss was by far the most scandalous of the big six. Today, Moss continues to model and continues to achieve great success. Aside from modeling, Moss was featured in the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremonies, has released two successful lines for Top Shop, and has just released a jewelry line in partnership with Brazilian jeweler, Ara Vartanian, aptly named Kate Moss X Ara Vartanian.

Cindy Crawford

Since the 1990s Cindy Crawford has all but hung up her modeling hat and made way for her daughter, Kaia Gerber, to take the spotlight. Mini-Cindy Crawford is following in her mother’s footsteps and has become quite the model herself.

At only 16, Kaia is signed with IMG Models and has modeled for major brands including Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs Burberry, Alexander Wang, Coach, Prada, Fendi, and Versace. She has also been on the cover of Vogue, Teen Vogue, and Pop Magazine.

Crawford must be one proud mama!

Christy Turlington

Christy Turlington now considers modeling to be quite low on her priority list. The actress lists her current accomplishments as the founder of Every Mom Counts; Director of No Woman, No Cry; global maternal mental health advocate; mom; traveler; and model.

Taking the most philanthropic route of the rest of the big six, Turlington dedicates most of her time now to her charitable work.

Linda Evangelista

As the oldest of the big six, at 52, Evangelista still looks like a babe – where are her wrinkles? Whether that’s timeless beauty or Botox is up to you to decide. She continues to model and has partnered with Turlington to complete some philanthropic work for The Elephant Crisis Fund.

We’ll never get over her classic line of never getting out of bed for less than $10,000. I wish I could say the same, girl!

The 1990s forever

Like a fine wine, these ladies only get better with age. It’s truly remarkable to see how each model’s career has uniquely changed since her prime time in the 1990s.
