Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon went undercover as buskers in NYC Subway

It’s a subway party! Miley Cyrus traded in her Malibu beach for busking in the subway in New York City.

As part of the quirky singer’s Tonight Show takeover on Wednesday, Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon put on their best disguises and performed on a NYC subway platform for shocked passengers.

“I’m here at the 50th Street subway station right below Rockefeller Center, and Miley Cyrus and I are about to go onto the subway platform and start busking in disguise,” Fallon, 42, said. “No one knows that it’s going to happen. No one knows it’s Miley Cyrus.”

With their cowboy hats, wigs and sunglasses, Cyrus and Fallon may have initially fooled onlookers, but the moment she started to sing, the 24-year-old’s voice was a dead giveaway.

The crowd quickly gathered to watch the duo who began singing Cyrus’ godmother Dolly Parton’s 1973 hit song “Jolene.”

After the song, the pair revealed their identities.

“Thank you very much. I am Jimmy Fallon. This is Miley Cyrus,” Fallon announced to the crowd. “We’ll do one more song for you!”

They kept the party going with Cyrus’ 2009 hit “Party in the U.S.A.”
