Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt ‘Committed to act as a united front’

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have agreed to work together, in private, for the sake of their family.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have agreed to work together on their divorce and custody in private, for the sake of their family.

In a joint statement released Monday, the actors state they’ve agreed to handle their divorce privately. They will keep all future details of their divorce and custody agreements private for the sake of their children.

The couple have decided to use a private judge for all matters concerning their divorce in an attempt to show a united front and protect the privacy of their family.

People reports that the statement, released on Monday, reads, “The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues.”

“The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification,” the statement concludes.

Pitt, 53, and Jolie, 41, had been exchanging ruthless accusations for the past several weeks in Los Angeles Superior Court. Recently both agreed to seal all records relating to their six kids – Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and Knox and Vivienne, 8.

The former couple have a voluntary custody agreement that has the children living with Jolie while Pitt has supervised visitation.
